On Monday 2nd August, Revd Tim Hews, a retired member of the clergy, sewed his lips shut and stood outside the main entrance of News Corps UK offices at the Shard in London. His aim was to draw attention to the silencing of climate science by Rupert Murdoch and News Corp, which has led to a catastrophic lack of effective action to tackle the climate crisis.

For his act of Christian witness on 2 August against the Murdoch global lie fabricators, Revd Tim Hews is an exceptionally brave, principled cleric, dauntless, holy, Christ-like. Did I read of Rev Tim Hews’ protest in The Times? The Scum?
I have shared the wonderful man’s actions where I could and also asked Sky’s Daily Climate Show on Twitter why they did not cover it. Was it perhaps because they did not want to upset Mr Murdock?
