“The issues which face us are deeply spiritual ones. They have to do with us facing into our sinfulness in the way that we have misused and mistreated this beautiful, blue-green marble, floating in space, which is our God-given, single, planet home. Mistreating it through our greed and indifference and apathy … We must all wake up and we must all change. We must pray and we must act. We must lobby and we
must influence in every single context in which we are able to do this.”
– Bishop Olivia Graham, June 2023

On Sunday 10 September, if you are a regular part of a church or not you are invited to join in with a Christian Climate Action inspired pilgrimage along the banks of the Thames through Battersea to Westminster.
We will stop at several points to reflect and pray. These will include Battersea Power Station, Vauxhall transport hub, and Parliament Square.
No special equipment or previous experience is required. You will need to be able to walk the approximately 3.5 mile route. We anticipate arriving at Parliament Square by 4pm. The pilgrimage will end with prayer and people will make their own way home at that point.
We will carry on whatever the weather so dress appropriately. The meeting point will be the river side of the peace pagoda in Battersea Park. Here is the What3words reference: https://w3w.co/wrong.guard.drape

Feel free to share widely with Battersea friends who are feeling the pain and frustration of this moment.
See you ready for a 2pm start from Battersea Park on Sunday 10 September.
