Saturday Reflections

A great way of getting involved in Christian Climate Action is by attending our Saturday Reflections, held most weeks 11:00am-noon.

These events are held online. Register in advance for these sessions by clicking HERE (you only need to register once and you can attend any of them). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Format: This is a series of live, online teaching sessions examining different aspects of the climate and ecological emergency and / or exploring biblical perspectives on how we might respond. The format is usually 20 – 30 minutes of teaching, followed by either breakout rooms for 20 – 30 minutes, or a Q&A session. These sessions are a wonderful way of getting informed, challenging your Christian perspectives and getting to meet other people in Christian Climate Action.

Upcoming sessions

March 25: No session.

April 1: Alice Codner – “Wisdom for living, drawing on wisdom literature in the Bible and its practical and active take on spirituality.”

April 15: Andii Bowsher – “Themes of justice, God’s immanence, the Powers that Be, and the arc of the moral universe that bends towards justice (acknowledging MLK and Walter Wink)”

Register in advance for these sessions by clicking HERE (you only need to register once and you can attend any of them). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
