Gathering and Training Together

It has been wonderful to see CCA membership growing during recent rebellions and actions. Maintaining a close-knit and well-resourced community is so important as we seek to act together and support each other in the face of climate breakdown. So we have organised a series of events around the country to enable CCA-ers to gather regionally and do some training together.

During each day, we will be covering a range of important topics that offer something for everyone, no matter how long you’ve been in action, including:

  • What does the Bible say about peaceful civil disobedience?
  • Discerning what kind of action you should take.
  • Non-violent protest training – first time training for newbies and review and reflection on the challenge of non-violence for those with experience of action.
  • Speaking to the press.
  • Holding outreach conversations.
  • What to do if family and friends are not supportive

           ….and more!

Meet and chat with other like-minded people, hear the experiences of those who have been involved in CCA for some time and find out about forthcoming actions you can get involved in.

Tea and coffee will be provided and we are inviting you to bring and share vegan/vegetarian lunch.

So do join us on Saturday 18th June in London or in Bristol and Manchester on Saturday 3rd September. To book a place head over to our events page HERE and follow the link.
