CCA are helping to create Unite to Survive South West – Sat 28th Oct in Bath

XR South West are organising a family-friendly gathering in Victoria Park, Bath, with workshops, speakers, performers and activities for all.  They have invited all nature, climate and social justice groups to join in.  CCA Bristol and CCA members from the South West will be helping to create the day. 

The timetable for the day will be:  

8-10am – Set up

10am – Event starts

12 noon – March starts forming

12.30 – March leaves

2pm – March finishes

3pm – Community Assembly

5pm – Event finishes

5-7pm – Pack down

VIGIL AT SOUTH WEST UNITE TO SURVIVE

As part of this Unite to Survive event, there will be a vigil at Barclays Bank, Southgate St from 10.30 to 12noon. This will be held by Somerset Silent Rebellion (a collaboration of Christian Climate Action, XR Buddhists, Extinction Rebellion and others).
Meet at Pigeon Place at 10.15am before moving slowly to the bank. There will be two periods of silence outside the bank with some leafleting to passers by, so if you will be sitting, bring something to sit on! Placards will be available. Wearing broadly black increases the visual effect. The vigil will be over in good time to join the march.
