Rosebank is the largest undeveloped oil and gas field in the UK. It could give rise to 200 million tonnes of additional CO2 emissions if the oil is extracted. The Government is expected to make a decision about Rosebank by the end of August.

We’re asking you to take action alongside those who recently delivered 100 paper roses to HM Treasury to ask them not to approve a new oil and gas field in UK waters .

Let Andy Burnham (& your MP) Know We Don’t Want Rosebank

Reminding MPs about this now, helps to establish the vital backdrop for when Burnham lands as PM. It needs to be the case that all around him MPs are telling him that opposition to Rosebank is huge and that it is clear that it cannot be approved.
