Do come and see us at Greenbelt. Maybe even find a bit of time to help us out? Throughout the festival we will have a stall near the Hothouse venue where you will find great conversation, mini talks and trainings, block printing and more. 

We will also be hosting sessions and joining in lots of other conversations across the site each day, showcasing some of the variety of things we do in CCA. 

On Saturday morning between 11am and noon in the Hothouse venue we will be sharing stories and experiences of civil resistance, arrest and imprisonment from the front line of Christian climate activism. Between 2pm and 2.30pm on Saturday we will be in the URC cafe tent sharing some ten-minute tales of why and how people got involved in CCA, what keeps them going, and how others can be involved. In the evening from 8 to 9pm we will be back in URC tent, for their ‘Sundown’ chat show, finding out what makes a CCA activist tick and how their faith and their experience has motivated them to action.

On Sunday at 3pm we will be in The Grove.  Led by people who walked from London to Glasgow last year on the Camino To COP26 we are hosting a session on pilgrimage before setting off on our own mini pilgrimage accompanied by the incredible Coat of Hopes. Walk with us for an hour or two until 5pm with time for talking, silent walking, playfulness and community building with the second hour focused on a child friendly all age experience.

On Monday between 3 and 4pm we will be back in the The Grove for session on prayer vigils as a form of protest, including practical advice on how to organise your own prayer vigil, led by folk from our Earth Vigil team.  As part of the session we will be heading out to hold a  vigil for the Earth somewhere on the festival site.

And amidst the busyness of all this we are working on finding spaces to support Christian Aid in their climate crisis vigil at the Gaia installation and their climate justice work – details to follow.
