Lambeth Conference starts on 26th July this year. The Lambeth Conference is a gathering of bishops from across the Anglican Communion for prayer and reflection, fellowship and dialogue on church and world affairs.
Wednesday 3rd August has been designated as Environment Day at the conference. On this day, CCA will be there outside Lambeth Palace bearing witness and praying throughout the day.
Times: 9am to 5pm.
We will be focusing on a message of global climate justice and have emailed all the bishops and invited them to come out at some point and pray with about the issue.
Do join us – for as long or as little as you can.
You can find out more about Lambeth Conference through their website.
I hope they aren’t all at Canterbury while you are at Lambeth….. Do you know where they are expected to be?

I would have been interested in this but did not find out until yesterday, 31 July.
May the post now be deleted ? Perhaps a short summary of the outcome might be appropriate in its place ?

Yes, apologies for the short notice. Sometimes we don’t get our plans together till late in the day. It would have been great to have been able to welcome you on 3rd August and maybe at another time. We will replace this post with an account of the day after the event.
